Genre Defintions


 Genre-is the term for any types of literature or other forms of art or entertainment, for example music, whether written or spoken audial or visual. Genres are formed by conventions that change over time.

Sub-Genre-A subcategory within a particular genre and can apply to literature, music, film, theatre, video games, or other forms of art. Sub-genre breaks down these categories into more defined subjects.

Hybrid Genre- hybrid genre is a combination of two or more themed categories. Such merging two things together and may occur in art, music and literature.
